I didn’t get to write much last year, so hopefully this 2018, I can return back to my old self where I used to do it everyday. Prompt by: https://weheartit.com/articles/2992....
Day 1: 5 places you want to visit and why
1. Japan

Aside from the culture, food, anime, fashion, tradition and basically everything that makes this place perfect for me, I was also born in Japan. I’m fond of nature and I love the cleanliness and discipline of the Japanese people. Their simple lives. And of course, they have all the cutest things.
2. London

I’m a sucker for great architecture and rainy weather. London is not just home to both but it’s also the setting of my childhood: the Harry Potter universe. Imagine my face when I see all the film locations, I’m probably gonna bawl my eyes out. Plus London has this rustic, steampunk vibe to it and I completely dig that.

3. Arizona, USA - Grand Canyon

One of my goals in particular is a common entry in most people’s bucket list: to see the Grand Canyon. I mean, come on, who wouldn’t want to see the earth meet the sky and how the world came to be?

4. Rome

Since I’m a sucker for architectural marvels, art and anything ancient/historical I’ve always dreamt of seeing Rome and the Colosseum. I believe if given the chance to visit there, I won't be able to sleep during my stay out of excitement.

"Who’s the boy you like the most?
Is he teasing you with underage?
Rome Rome Rome Rome
Focus looking forward the Colosseum
Oh no! What did I say? What can I say?
Rome, Rome many tears have fallen here
I’ll be driving, you look the other way."
Rome- Phoenix
5. Canada

Canada and I go ways back, but that is for another story. The mere mention of its name gives me a really warm feeling. I never truly looked up photos of Canada or studied much about the culture but since the Northern Lights/ Aurora Borealis are visible from there, I’d take a free ticket any time of the day. I may or may not find closure to my long-forgotten childhood fantasy and even so, I’ll still complete my life by seeing the Aurora.

Special Mentions:
*Bioluminiscent Beach- Maldives

The Maldives is famous for shining white beaches and teeming marine life and almost every island is visited by glowing plankton. (wikipedia)

*Glow worm caves - New Zealand

The Waitomo Glowworm Caves attraction is a cave at Waitomo on the North Island of New Zealand. It is known for its population of Arachnocampa luminosa, a glowworm species found exclusively in New Zealand. (wiki)
