I rarely do this because I don't look to the future the way I used to before. Remember those times we were asked to write the same thing at school or university? "Where do you see yourself in 10 years?" I still have some of those papers with me. And boy, did I have unrealistic expectations. I realized since then that life has a way of steering you away from the path you initially wanted for yourself. It will still lead you to your desired destination if you pursue hard enough. And in order for that to happen, thorough planning and an equal determination are required. And if life throws you setbacks, as it will for most of us, you're just gonna have to live your life one day at a time and focus on improving yourself everyday until you get where you want to be.

There's no harm in doing this and maybe it'll do me good if the world would see, or at least some people, what I've been repressing for many years.

Seven years from now, I would like to take art as a full-time profession. Perhaps be an author/illustrator by that time. Publish books for children and do art commissions in my spare time.

I also would like to think that by that time, I'm already married or engaged. It's not like anyone can really plan these things unless you're arranged, but well, you get the idea.

If I don't reach my cap of 30 for getting married, I am most likely to be in a place of my own, have a little garden, travel often and take a lot of photos.

I'm pretty sure by that time I also have a tattoo or two, which I'm already saving up for at the moment.

I'll be properly taking my courses in a university to finish my degree in Programming, take up Psychology, and maybe journalism/literature.

Provided I have a stable home, I'll also buy myself a piano and take it up again.

If that house is how I imagined it to be, it will be near the sea.

I'll have learned how to surf.

And skate..

I'll spend most of my time near the beach during the afternoons.

And if by some miracle or grand plan, I become rich and famous in the next couple of years, I won't even wait and I will immediately travel.

Despite all these plans and materialistic dreams, there is only one thing I truly want in life. I never strived for anything out of the ordinary and my ideals are very simplistic. God only knows what I truly crave for.
