From my most favorite voice in the music industry, "The Boys" by Lisa Mitchell is a very catchy song and something I can relate to on a spiritual level.

As the title suggests, it is about the friendship of one girl with a group of boys and how she starts falling in love with one of them.

Having experienced something slightly similar during my rowdy boyish days, I started listening to this on repeat during the first month of its release. And come on, those vocals and rhythms alone are to die for.

The music video brings back memories and is heartwarming to listen to. The 'jealousy' feels and the moment she realizes she doesn't see herself as one of the boys anymore are just too real.

Well the wind blows my hair across my face

There's a kid on his skateboard in the Manly sun

We're driving down the avenue, past all the big houses

And there's something about these streets

And the way you wear your heart on your sleeve

Down below I see the aquamarine...

I think that I'm beginning to care...

I think that I'm beginning to care...

Oh the boys, the boys

Driving in cars with the boys, the boys

One of the most talented singer and songwriter I know, Alison Sudol, also currently more known for her role in Fantastic Beasts as "Queenie", stars in this magical stop-motion video, "Lost Things" (Sleepwalking) as A Fine Frenzy.

Have you ever wondered where all those small trinkets you might have lost a long time ago--a hair tie, some buttons, your favorite pen, coins and the other pair of your sock--all disappear to?

Well apparently, they come back to life in this Wonderland-like short.

This is one of the first songs I've heard which made me fall in love with creative music and indie artists. I probably discovered A Fine Frenzy way back in 2011 or earlier and I haven't looked at songwriting the same way again.

Houses to houses Sinks with rolls and floors Windows to hallways Closed and open doors

Softly They creep softly Plus we Have now lost thee

Cover your eyes with the paper clothes That you stole from paper sheep. Tracing their jumps on the paper sky Where the fallen paper sleep

Falling We're always falling Calling Hey come back lost things

Since my playlist shuffle seems to be on my side at the moment, it has given me these wonderful choices.

She & Him is one of my latest finds and I'm so glad to have finally decided to listen to them. Zooey Deschanel, more popular for her role as Summer from 500 days of Summer is the lead vocalist of this duo.

You can't deny that Zooey's pretty, but on top of that, her voice is also angelic. I first heard her sing in the Christmas comedy movie, The Elf, where her short rendition of "Santa Claus is coming to town" will be stuck in my head for many years to come.

She also has a classic, vintage voice that perfectly matches their brilliant songwriting.

She & Him's cover of "You really got a hold on me" is on my go-to-work playlist. It's written by Smokey Robinson and also has a lovely cover from The Beatles.

Uncannily, I love She & Him's version more than The Beatles' because of the emotion behind Zooey's voice, and also, the fact that it's from a girl's perspective. If you close your eyes during the first few seconds in, you just might fall in love.

I don't like you But I love you Seems that I'm always Thinking of you Oh, oh, oh, You treat me badly I love you madly You've really got a hold on me You've really got a hold on me You've really got a hold on me You've really got a hold on me, baby
